Le titulaire de ce BTS est un assistant/gestionnaire import-export travaillant généralement dans des entreprises industrielles, commerciales ou de prestations de services (transporteurs, transitaires, banques, assurances...), principalement des PME. Il contribue au développement commercial international de l'entreprise en participant aux actions de promotion et de prospection. Il exécute des contrats d'achat/vente à l'international. Il assure l'interface avec les clients et les fournisseurs, de la cotation ou de l'offre de paiement et la gestion administrative des commandes export et des achats à l'étranger. Il participe à la conception de tableaux de bord, en assure le suivi. Il contribue à la gestion des risques de paiement, de change, de transport et de douane ainsi que des réclamations et des litiges.
Travaillant dans un contexte interculturel et numérique, il maîtrise au moins deux langues dont l'anglais, utilise les technologies de l'information et de la communication pour échanger les données dématérialisées.

The holder of this BTS is an import-export assistant/manager usually working in industrial, commercial, and service companies (carriers, freight forwarders, banks, insurance...) He contributes to the international business development of the company by participating in promotional and prospecting actions. He executes international purchase/sale contracts. It provides interface with customers and suppliers, quotation or payment offer and administrative management of export orders and purchases abroad. He participates in the design of dashboards, ensures the follow-up. He contributes to the management of payment, foreign exchange, transportation and customs risks as well as claims and disputes.
Working in an intercultural and digital context, he is fluent in at least two languages, including English, and uses information and communication technologies to exchange electronic data.
