La SARA est une entreprise de raffinage. A partir du pétrole brut, l’outil industriel produit du butane, du gazole, de l’essence, du kérosène, et du fioul.
En 1982, l’entreprise s’’installe en Guyane en reprenant l’activité des dépôts pétroliers déjà présents sur le département. La SARA a aussi un engagement sociétal fort sur la Guyane dans des domaines comme L’EDUCATION ou encore L’INSERTION avec le Prix de l’’Excellence, aux cotés du SAPAD et de l’’association AGAPE.

SARA is a refining company. The industrial facilities produce butane, gasoil, kerosene, gasoline , kerosene, and fuel.
In 1982 the company settled in French Guiana by taking up the activities of the management of the former fuel depot sites that already existed in the department.
SARA also has a strong societal engagement in French Guiana in fields like education or integration with the Excellence Prize with the SAPAD company and the AGAVE association.
